- Must turn 5 by August 1st of this season
- Must not turn 7 before August 1 of this season.
- This league will combine T-Ball & Coach Pitch. The tee will be used to develop hand/eye coordination, proper batting stance and swing as outlined in the Fundamentals Handbook for Coaches.
- The coaches will target game 5 of the season for leaving the tee & pitching to the players. Using the tee only as a back up or a time, at-bat, when a player cannot hit the ball.

- Must not turn 9 before August 1 of this season.
- This league is Machine Pitch. Height and speed of the machine will be adjusted for this age.
- Full catcher’s gear required, as well as, athletic cups for any player wanting to catch. Coaches in this league may act as the catchers.
- This league will have a 30-minute practice before each game.
- This league will have 1 scheduled game/week.
- Games will be played at the Merton School Fields.
- This league readies players for 9 & 10 Little League by advancing and building on the fundamentals taught in 5 & 6 Baseball. A baseball mentality is indoctrinated by hitting the ball at high velocity from a pitching machine. The focus is on instilling the fundamentals of the game through repetition.
