“ZERO TOLERANCE” Participation Policy

The Merton Athletic Association’s (M.A.A.)  Participation Policy requires any person participating in a M.A.A. activity to have a signed and completed Participation Waiver and Photography Release on file prior to the commencement of any activity.  A participant will not be allowed to step on the court or field for a practice or game; receive a uniform; or, receive equipment, without first having turned in the signed and completed Participant and Photo Waiver.  This document will be kept on file for that activity’s season.

Participants registering for M.A.A. activities online must print, completely fill out, sign and turn in the Participation and Photo Waiver before they are allowed to participate in the activity.  There will be NO exceptions and ZERO TOLERANCE if this requirement is not met.

Participants registering in person for M.A.A. activities must completely fill out, sign and turn in the Participation and Photo Waiver AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.  There will be NO exceptions and ZERO TOLERANCE if this requirement is not met.

 

“ZERO TOLERANCE” Code of Conduct Policy

The Merton Athletic Association (M.A.A.)  “ZERO TOLERANCE”  Code of Conduct policy requires any person participating in a M.A.A. activity to have a signed and completed Code of Conduct form on file prior to the commencement of any activity.  The Code of Conduct form will be read and signed by the participant, parent/guardians, and the participant’s coaches or instructors.

The Code of Conduct form will be handed out by the team manager, coach, or instructor (depending on the activity) to all participants within the first week of the activity.   At the start of week 2 of the activity, participants will not be allowed to step on the court or field for practice or game; receive a uniform; or, receive equipment, without first having turned in the signed Code of Conduct.  There will be NO exceptions and ZERO TOLERANCE if this requirement is not met.

NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR ANY FAMILIES / PARTICIPANTS
