Program Director
This position is very rewarding and fun! If you are a ‘people’ person, this position is for you. You are the liaison between the Activities Director and the people! You organize the evaluations, create the teams and team's schedule. Since this position takes many hours, you will be exempt from your other children's volunteer responsibility. Contact our Activity Director, Heidi Miller, if you are interested in this position.

Head Coach/Assistant Coach
Do you want to spend more time with your child? Do you want to spread your knowledge? Then coaching is for you! MAA also offers a coaching clinic prior to the start of the season for each sport to guide you into teaching the fundamentals of that sport to your team!

Team Manager
Whether you are the manager for a baseball, basketball team or soccer team you're responsible for the distribution of the uniforms, collection of the code of conduct and volunteer fee and scheduling a parent meeting with the coaches.
  • For Baseball/Fast Pitch: Duties might also include setting up a rainout calling tree, distributing schedules and rosters and being the liaison between the coaches and the team.
  • For Basketball or Soccer: Duties also include creating a schedule of the parent volunteers for hall monitoring, timekeeping and scoring and collecting the basketball jerseys.

Scorekeeper - AMSAC Basketball
This position is the pulse of the game! The scorer's responsibility is so great that floor officials must establish the closest cooperation and understanding with them. Here are some notes for timekeepers and score keepers.

Timekeeper - AMSAC Basketball
This is a fun position for anyone! You run the scoreboard for the game. Here are some notes for timekeepers and score keepers.

Timekeeper/Scorekeeper - Recreational Basketball and Soccer
For recreational basketball, a timekeeper is only needed. With soccer, it's necessary to have the stopwatches besides the scoreboard.

Timekeeper - Baseball and Fast Pitch
A timekeeper is needed for any games at Pollworth Park only.

Hall Monitor
This position is needed for any indoor activity (i.e. AMSAC basketball, recreational basketball, soccer, dance, etc.).

Photo Night
Assist the photographers with the pictures to ensure the children smile! Also, directs the teams to the correct location.

Concessions
What better way to work off your units while watching a game! Sell a sundry of different items at either Merton Primary or Pollworth Park!
