Merton AMSAC 7th and 8th Grade Boys and Girls leagues are run through Merton Intermediate School.
Program Details:
The AMSAC league will strengthen your kids' game as well as their spirit as they compete in a fun and safe environment. The 5th and 6th grade Merton School girls play their season in the fall and the boys play in the winter. If there are enough players for two teams, an evaluation will be held to create teams that are as equal as possible. The teams travel to other Arrowhead Feeder Schools to compete against their team . Games are played during the week at 4:30pm, 5:30pm or 6:30pm at Merton Intermediate School or another Arrowhead Feeder School. Practices are usually after school but can be before if coach prefers.
Girls start practicing the end of September/beginning of October and have an end of the year tournament at the end of November/beginning of December. Boys start practicing the beginning of January and have an end of the year tournament at the end of February/beginning of March. The tournament location rotates yearly among the schools.
